Commitment To Quality ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY  Environmentally safe and aware, ARMOLOY holds a strong commitment to the safety of our employees and to the protection and well being of the environment, both inside and outside our facility.At ARMOLOY, stringent air quality standards are met by utilising the most up to date mist eliminators and fume scrubber systems available. As well as controlling our air emissions, ARMOLOY employs a closed loop plating system, which enables us to achieve zero rinse water discharge. From our shop floor layout, with secondary containment to handle 100% of all plating baths, to the various types of equipment used, ARMOLOY is committed to minimizing the risk to our employees as well as to the community of Jacobs, Kwa-Zulu Natal. CHEMISTRY  ARMOLOY operates a laboratory to provide necessary quality control for metal finishing processes. All process solutions are analyzed on a regular schedule, with the majority of them done “in house.” QUALITY CONTROL  ARMOLOY maintains a rigid quality assurance system that is governed by our written Quality Assurance Program ISO 14001. Our inspection department is dedicated to making sure that only parts that meet our strict standards are allowed to ship. Our in house capabilities include wet chemistry analysis, microscopic examination, magnetic and x-ray fluorescence thickness measurement. As a monthly routine, we salt spray and weight test anodized test panels. We have the usual measurement gages such as micrometers, calipers and thread gages. Surface finish is measured using a profilometer. In addition to our in house capabilities, our analytical needs are supplemented by carefully selected outside laboratories and ARMOLOY Head Office in Illinois. They provide routine analysis and external calibration services. HANDLING Our entire staff is well aware of the value of the components we handle every day. Our Plating Technicians handle every part with the utmost care. SAFETY AND CLEANLINESS FDA/USDA approved for use, without concern on food processing equipment, in clean room environments and in Medical/pharmaceutical applications. Independent testing has proven no issue of toxicity or skin irritation in TDC coated parts OUR MISSION ARMOLOY is committed to providing coating solutions and applications that consistently meet or exceed our customer requirements in a timely, safe and environmentally sound manner.
